Lithium batteries are the standard choice for Baja California Sur because they handle heat and daily cycling well and last far longer than older lead-acid types. They still need sensible placement and ventilation in the BCS heat, but with the right install they deliver many years of reliable storage.

Why lithium over lead-acid

Lithium lasts longer, gives more usable capacity, needs little maintenance, and handles daily cycling better. In a hot climate, that longer life and reliability justify the cost over traditional lead-acid batteries.

Heat and placement

Batteries don't like extreme heat. We install them in shaded, ventilated locations and account for BCS summer temperatures to protect their lifespan and warranty. Good placement is one of the decisions that most affects how long they last.
